with Koyna Ruseva - Bulgaria

Koyna Ruseva studied acting at the Academy of Theatre Arts “K. Sarafov” with professor Krikor Azaryan and Todor Kolev.
She has numerous leading roles in the theatre, including Adelaide in Dostoevsky's "The Idiot", Elmira in Moliere's "Tartuffe", Valerie in Connor McPherson's "The Weir" ( she won the Icarus Award in 2005), Malama in Anton Strashimirov's "Vampyr", Nan and Lina in Richard Greenberg's "Three Days of Rain", May in Sam Shepard's "Fool for Love", Tamara in Torsten Buchsteiner's "Nordost". She has also portrayed many Chekhov's heroines - Arkadina in "The Seagull", Anna Petrovna in "Platonov", Masha in "Three Sisters" and others.
Koyna Rousseva is one of the most well known contemporary Bulgarian actresses with an active presence in both the theatre, cinema and TV.
